Project Schedule and Bluetooth
First of all, a round of applause for all who visited YouthQuiz.com from the link in my last post. Kindra is testing out web statistics on the nph.com family of sites (there’s like… 15 or so of them) and JoeDonahue.org, as of this afternoon, was the third highest ranked source that drew visitors to YouthQuiz. It was only like < 1%, but it was still cool to see my name on the stats during developer's meeting today. The rumor is that tomorrow (which is really later on today) at staff meeting the Project Schedule for 2006 will finally be disclosed. I've watched projects from a distance, and I'm stoked to participate in one. I think I work better in a team than on my own anyway. Or maybe I just like people. Also, I have had several days now of Bluetooth joy. Upon the purchasing of a new cell phone, I realized both Julie and I had Bluetooth wireless capability, which is used for devices to communicate with each other (as opposed to other forms of wireless designed for internet connectivity). Since Saturday I have found half a dozen people for my phone to "bond" with and share pictures, ringtones, contacts... I'd like to say the list goes on and on but really it stops right there. Still, it's been really cool. When I was connecting to Sherwin's phone on Monday night, I sent him a picture of my 17" dual flat panel monitors from work, while his fiance Megan laughed at me for being so geeky. Sherwin responded by sending me a picture of his dual 19" flat panel monitors...
