Geocaching, Take 2

I had the opportunity this afternoon to meet up with Andy and Josh for another round of Geocaching. They began a multi-cache last week, where you start with one set of coordinates, which leads you to a box with another set of coordinates, and so on. We promptly found the second cache which previously eluded them, and after a short hike, found the third and final store. It contained such wonders as a Terrell Owens playing card. In the words of Andy Fey, “TNLN.”Took Nothing, Left Nothing.

The pictures are somewhat deceiving. There are some that seem to portray, for instance, that we are jumping a barbed wire security fence. Others, again, show my ’99 Escort perched somewhat-out-of-place in a field. Despite all of this, I assure the reader that nothing illegal transpired.

We think.

We have now moved beyond simply having fun, to training. There is a Geocaching race in a couple weeks, and we are going to compete as Team Cinnamon Roll.
