Monday, Monday…

Life is slowly finding a ‘normal’ pattern again.  There are still a lot of pieces that need to be picked up concerning this transition out to independence and all the craziness that accompanies a move, but there is hope.

My sister-in-laws arrived Friday night, driving out here from Maine.  Crystal will be living with us for the summer, and Amy came out just for the good times.  As a bonus, however, we all drove out to Edgerton, KS for the Youth in Mission training camp in order to surprise her boyfriend.  Amy then left yesterday afternoon, flying back to Maine.  We did spend some time out at Nebraska Furniture Mart and lunch at Famous Dave’s, which is always really good.  Also a bonus: We arrived at Dave’s and there was no line! Usually we have to wait an hour so that was awesome.  The three girls got ribs and I got a brisket sandwich, so that was a little embarrasing.

Having my class concluded, I shall now resume my rightful place as drummer for the second service at Southwood.  And I couldn’t be any happier about that.  Although, I did get to play bass yesterday, which is always a lot of fun.

On the horizon: I am going to continue to update this site and my photo gallery software, in order to transition to a more photo-blog type of display.  That will encourage me to take more pics and also to upload them.  I still have pics from ENC’s graduation to upload!
