It’s been almost a year since I first posted validateThis, and in honor of this, I have updated both the javascript and the sample page. ValidateThis! is a lightweight and unobtrusive bit of javascript for easing the tedious work of form validation. It relies upon special classes attached to form elements to get the job done. I would not describe it as a robust or complete solution, but it is simple enough to handle a significant portion of form validation needs. Less code, anyone?
